Chicken Parmigiana is an Italian-American combination. This recipe is simple and easy to make. The chicken is served with salsa sauce and topped with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.

Step 1

  • Place the breadcrumbs and the beaten egg in separate bowls. Salt and crushed black pepper should be added to each bowl. Dip each chicken breast into the egg, then in the breadcrumbs.
Step 2
  • The coated chicken breasts should be placed on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the tray for 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius.
Step 3
  • Place the salsa sauce in an oven-proof dish. Place the chicken on top of the salsa sauce once it is cooked. Sprinkle the chicken with grated mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan. Add salt and black pepper to the chicken and bake it for 20 more minutes.
Step 4
  • It can be served with French fries or pasta.
